Brazile could be a heck of a player but seems a little crazy. In the handful of Arkansas games I saw last year he didn't do hardly anything. I posted this elsewhere but I heard he and Debo Davis were lovers (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Cal probably has a roster that will put him at #2 in the SEC behind Alabama. Maybe #3 behind Bama and Tennessee. I'd say Kentucky will be 5th or 6th behind that group (and Florida + Texas A&M) in the preseason.Comment

Well the first part of all that, it is known. Some say this is what created the team chaos of Arkansas last year..Brazile could be a heck of a player but seems a little crazy. On paper Cal will have a good team, just like Kentucky year in year out for the most part but will it translate to tournament wins, who knows.
I think what bugs me the most about Calipari going to Arkansas is I am afraid he's finally going to get it right, at least for a year or two and it will all click.....
Big Z will be the odd man out. Z was a likeable gentle natured kid, hate to see him being used by Cal....Comment

Is Riley that guy that could actually put this current team over the top??
Is it worth rolling out the checkbook right now??
If he is as good as they say he is, need to seal the deal today if possible...Comment

He's got great size for a wing player but I doubt he'd be a main piece on the team at his age. Not with as many twentysomethings as we'll have.
Will Riley will be 18 years older until late in the '24-'25 season.Comment

I wish he would have stayed. I understand he wanted to play for the guy that got him here but it was the BBN who was so supportive and boisterous for him with the signs in Indy, etc. I kind of felt like he snubbed the fan base a little but maybe that's just me being petty with a kid!Comment

When you heard stories like the one where Big Z and Cal were crying together in Cal's office the day he got eligible, it was pretty obvious what was going to happen with him once Cal left. It's easy to be cynical but I do think he and Cal had a tight bond because of all that happened in that situation.

I feel the same way. Grass not always greener on the other side..

One thing I didn't question with Cal was he absolutely loved the kids. Don't blame a kid for wanting to play for him.
