Hurley to the Lakers would be quite the sea change for college basketball. And just goes to show that although UK Is an elite job, there are still levels to this.

Not sure if the transfer portal rules would allow movement right now, although this would definitely be an exceptional circumstance. Issue may be not who would be allowed out but who would be allowed in.

NCAA rules allow a 30-day window to transfer after coaching changes.

I would assume the same issues that prevented Oats and Drew from coming to UK would factor into a UCONN opening, as well.
