Now who's next, the 6'10 depth development player? Greedy and want it all...
No, that one broke down, which is fine. Vinson isn’t very good at all.

If Riley reclassifies, they take him. Otherwise I think they will call it good.

What a phenomenal inauguration first year roster for Pope in such a short period of time, pretty good in my opinion with all things considered..

Maybe. The 6'7 kid can play PF if needed. Williams, Carr, Garrison, and 6'7 should do the trick. If Pope plans on playing a sped up pro offense taking 35 threes a game, won't be no time to post up and the spacing should be spread out.

          I think we are good...

What about the kid from Baylor, the 7 footer..

My mind is horrible today, forgetting names. Post stroke symptom or age I suppose...

We have a much better team than I expected when Coach Pope arrived. He may be the hardest working Coach we've ever had.

Huge. Pope and staff have done an excellent job.

                Now: the coaching part.

I'm excited to see actual offensive plays run (more than drive and kick or drive and try to get fouled). I'm partially curious about how the SEC teams defend the offense. Hard to get a feel for it from the 1 season in Big12 and the previous in the WAC, or whatever conference it was. I know that good Gonzaga teams hammered BYU each time they played. But that could just be a reflection on the Zags at the time. Last years BYU win at Kansas, while great, might have had something to do with Kansas not being its normal.

This year should be fun to watch. Might see some double-digit losses when 3s aren't falling. But the fanbase should be excited - there won't be any complaints about offensive pace.

Guess with this latest pick up, we lose our chance to see Will as a walk-on this year

Yeah, he’s lost his spot on the bench now. It stinks. I wanted to see Kerr and Will sitting there eating nachos and talking up a storm during the games.

I figure they’d have about everything covered, from Estonia to Whitley City, and the fans staying after the games would be there for their autographs…not to hear Mark Pope talking about how we just went like 24-38 from 3 against some lousy Arkansas team.

I, for one, am ecstatic. This kid was in the SEC as a youngster, then played for Pope for 2 years. I certainly do not know him—but have reason to hope he’ll bring leadership to a group who are all new to one another. He knows what’s expected from the head guy.

What an intriguing roster! If chemistry is good and they all accept their roles we could surprise everyone. We’re mature—mentally and physically. Should be fun.
