Just out of curiosity. How do you pronounce Herro?

Tried Googling and couldn't find it. But I did find this from his Twitter account: "happy birthday killer @DevinBook". Has to be a good sign right?

I believe Devin Booker is his favorite player and he's said so in interviews.

Also regarding Twitter: a guy on Rivals points out that all of RJ Barrett's recent Twitter follows are affiliated with UK.

Starting to be quite a bit of talk about a couple of 2019 players reclassifying to 2018 and maybe Cal not giving out many offers because he is confident in that happening. No names being mentioned but you have to think it's guys towards the top of the list.

This could be the reason for the few offers as well.

James Wiseman is the guy I've seen mentioned as a possibility.

That is the one that would make the most sense to me. With Bol seeming unlikely that class will be missing size. Have read that Wiseman loved being at Big Blue Madness. Close to home.

I'm sure Cal has a plan. That's why lack of offers, misses etc don't concern me too much.

Herro scheduled an official visit to UK for Nov. 11th, which is right before signing day. A commitment might be on the horizon.

R.J. Barrett will make his announcement on Friday November 10.

Keldon Johnson will also announce this week.

Assuming Barrett to Duke it's really important Kentucky grabs Johnson.

Kentucky is suddenly back on Moses Brown. If you can land him as your replacement for Bol Bol then you may not have lost much.

And the Cats should have their second commitment of the class later this week with Johnson.

Brown would be a nice late surprise! He, along with Quickley and Johnson would be a very nice start to the class. But, it still needs a star player. Cal has to land a top tier guy, he hasn't gotten a top 5 guy since Skal.

Monk and Fox were highly rated and turned out to be stars, but I think this year's team may be missing a star (could be Knox) and next year's team absolutely needs one.

Knox and Vanderbilt will be stars IMO.

Having seen Knox up close I think the only thing that will hold him back from being one is if he doesn't want to put in the work to get there. Has incredible, can't-teach tools.

And there are stars who come from outside the top five every year. Last year: Jonathan Isaac, Fox, Monk, Bridges, Jarrett Allen, Alkins, T.J. Leaf.

Year before: Rabb, Murray, Henry Ellenson, Trier, Swanigan, Kennard.

Year before that: Tyus Jones, Justin Jackson, Winslow, Isaiah Whitehead, D'Angelo Russell, Ulis, Booker.

And so on.

The top five is way too arbitrary of a cut-off when you look at how many good players come in every year.

Brown back in the mix probably means Cal thinks Bol is Oregon bound IMO...

Combined with several returnees from this year, I'll take that alllll day.

And don't totally discount Barrett or Grimes at this point either.
