My next pick hails out of Harlan, KY, he's 6'4" weighing 205lbs wearing the number 27, he is Wallace "Wah Wah" Jones!!!
How can you not say that Wah Wah probably did more for an athletic program overall than anybody else??? At UK, Jones played football from 1945-48 and twice earned All-Southeastern Conference accolades from The Associated Press, first team as a sophomore and third team as a senior. He led the Wildcats in receiving in 1947 and ’48, the only two seasons for which receiving statistics are available, with nine catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns as a junior, followed by 19 receptions for 243 yards and five TDs as a senior. He helped UK to its first bowl appearance, a 24-14 victory against Villanova in the 1947 Great Lakes Bowl. He played his last three seasons under Coach Paul “Bear†Bryant.
Jones played basketball from the 1945-46 season through 1948-49, and was a three-time All-American – first-team as a senior, third-team as a junior and second-team as a sophomore. He earned first-team All-SEC honors all four years. He totaled 1,131 points during his career.
Jones helped lead the Wildcats to a 130-10 record in his four seasons and numerous championships under Coach Adolph Rupp:
• 1948 and 1949 NCAA champions
• 1946 NIT champions
• Four SEC regular-season championships
• Four SEC tournament championships
• 1948 Olympic champions
In 1947-48, he was a member of the “Fabulous Five,†along with Ralph Beard, Alex Groza, Cliff Barker and Kenny Rollins, that won the NCAA and Olympic titles.
“The word ‘legend’ is used frequently in our society but it is truly fitting when considering Wah Wah Jones,†said UK Director of Athletics Mitch Barnhart. “Wah Wah holds a legendary place in the athletic history of our state as a three-sport star at Harlan High School and the University of Kentucky. Wah Wah was a central figure during a golden era of Wildcat athletics, noted for his outstanding performances and his versatility."

Well it does look like I'm up so here goes.
I needed some more speed and I don't know of player with more speed and quickness than Dwight "The Blur" Anderson. He was as fast a player as I have ever seen at UK. Just as fast as Wall for you young folks. He could make a difference in a game with that blazing speed. He had quick hands too. His coming out game was against a good Notre Dame team in which he dominated in the 2nd half of that game in which he lead a big comeback win. Al McGuire said during that game "A star is born." Just so sad what happened to him. He just couldn't stay away from drugs and threw it all away. But for about a season and half he was as good a guard as anyone could have.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment

I will go to war with this kid anyday of the week and twice on Sundays. This kid was told he wasn't good enough and that he couldn't compete with the freaks of today's game., he should just leave and transfer from the University of Kentucky. He didn't come here to fast track to the NBA, he came here to play for a great tradition and be a part of something special. If you want to talk about Notre Dame and Rudy, im talking about Josh Harrellson and Kentucky..
With my 7th pick, i am taking Josh Harrellson. Now get ya sum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol lol lol lol lol lol
I had thought about D. Orton,D. Johnson even Skal. I will give a pass to Skal just because he didn't play his senior year but if this was a 10 man team, i would take Skal. D. Cousins has praised Skal this summer for his work and Cousins isn't known for compliments, it's unfortunate we never got to see the real Skal.
As for Orton and Johnson, to think they were NBA ready, they crazy!!!!!!!!!
On a side note, that is a great video in tribute to Harrellson. It's worth taking the time to watch. Brought back some good memories and good times....*DISCLAIMER* I do not own the rights to this footage .All Video Footage and Rights Property of XOS Digital Technologies.
