I agree with Kevin. I vote no on the non-UK free agent thing. Bringing in outside players spoils it for me.
Plus - and I think this is the big one - adding a legend from another school would completely undermine the work we've done to be competitive in our selections. The point of this was to choose the best possible players from a select group. If I'd known I'd be able to choose Magic, Kareem, Iverson, Ewing, et al. after my final pick, I'd have used a completely different draft strategy.
I'm interested in getting a bracket with these teams and having everyone vote on the outcome. I used to be a part of a forum where this was done with Super heroes. The match is set each poster posts an intro as to why they would / should win and everyone votes and comments. It's a blast. It worked best with individual threads for each match-up you can set a time limit for the voting so it doesn't go on forever.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... Thinking outside the box, i was online looking for a good team vs. team simulator where your input stats and simulate a game. Now the simulated result could carry the value of X amount of voted and we still vote as a group to tally up a final decision. One thing a simulator will not do is simulate the "intangibles" of a game, this is where the human aspect of group voting would come into play.....
Just a thought........Comment

I was afraid Downes was on to my pick but no he wasn't.
I am taking Reggie Hanson with the 6th pick.
Hanson was a very versatile player. He could go inside or outside. He also often guarded players bigger than him. He been largely forgotten because he played his best during the probation years. I will always admire him for staying at UK when he could have easily left for another school. He made the ultimate sacrifice in giving up two years of not playing in a post season tournament to stay at UK during probation.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment
