I need a 2 guard who can shoot it. I can't think of one much better than Jim Master. He played before three point era but if he had played then he would have been in the top three in that category. Maybe even lead it. He scored over 1200 points and most of those came on long range shots. He shot just 48% from the field and about 84% from the foul line. There are really only three or four shooting guards that you can say were pure shooters than Master. He was a clutch player too. He made the shot that put the Dream Game in overtime. He also made some clutch foul shots in the SEC tournament one time after he called a timeout because he said he needed to rest a little bit before shooting. You couldn't tell me he didn't have some ice water in those veins.

Yes he is. The only tweak to that lineup would be Issel at small forward. Issel was good enough to play that position. But man that's a tough front court.

Once I pick... or post a tirade about losing him, let me know if I get the guy you're thinking of. If I get him is softens not getting Walt as I think they are closer than they appear at first glance. Having said that I am almost certain JW picks him.
