I was afraid Downes was on to my pick but no he wasn't.
I am taking Reggie Hanson with the 6th pick.
Hanson was a very versatile player. He could go inside or outside. He also often guarded players bigger than him. He been largely forgotten because he played his best during the probation years. I will always admire him for staying at UK when he could have easily left for another school. He made the ultimate sacrifice in giving up two years of not playing in a post season tournament to stay at UK during probation.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... Good pick, Hanson was a good player who was overlooked through the bad times of Kentucky basketball. My cousin was a top region 6'4 guard in high school who graduated in 86. He played against Chapman, Hanson, Spencer, S. Draud, and Persley. To this day, he thinks Hanson was better than Chapman........Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... I'm going back and forth between post depth and a swing man who can play multiple positions. I had my mind set on one of four players here and all four are still available. I'm going to go with DeAndre Liggins as my sixth man, provided he wants to get back in the game and playHe was responsible for shutting down a number of great players. I remember a sequence against Louisville where he guarded Siva with his hands behind his back. He'll give the spark I need and can play the 1, 2, and 3. Not to mention he's one of my all time favorites.
Turner, Lamb, Mash, Patterson, Nazr, and Liggins.Comment

As a sophomore, he averaged 13.3 points and 6 rebounds per game. In his junior season he made further progress, averaging 16.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game, earning first team All-SEC honors....he is Randolph Morris.
