Downes took my pick. I think picking in the middle is a real disadavantage but you have to take what you get.

I need a point guard so I am taking the Tyler Ulis of the 80's. Dicky Beal. Beal was almost as fast as Ulis. He was very quick with his hands and was the real leader of that 1984 team. He was injured part way through that season and when he was out you could tell a real difference in that team. He had 133 assist in that season so he knew how to feed those big men of Bowie,Turpin and Walker.

Just got up and I see some very good picks taken. I have Cousins, Prince and Knight so far, and anxiously waiting to finish my starters. I think Teamchemistry15, is on the clock.

I can't believe he fell this far. But I need a post presence so I'm taking Patrick Patterson. That gives me Wayne Turner, Doron Lamb, Jamal Mashburn, and Patterson.

It wasn't a game winning dunk but it was one of the best dunks in UK history. UK actually blew out Miss State in that game.

Tell me about it. I'm smack dab in the middle no matter the order.

Mashburn and Patterson are a really good compliment for each other. I like that. Guards are too. Not bad picking at all.

12:23 pm is cutoff time as we are back to the five hour limit. I saw he was on here very late last night. He may push that limit.

Can't disagree with anything you said there. But at the start of this it was laid out with this guideline "Contributions on the professional level will not hold weight on the vote, only what they did in a Kentucky uniform." We could play the what if game forever..

Besides Anthony Davis,Cousins, Wall, Towns, and the whole group of Calipari players really can't compare to the the 3 and 4 year of years past. We are playing the what if game anyways especially if we are voting team versus team matchups.

Let's save our debating of teams to when everyone has their full team. OK? If I get the time after the draft I will try to do stats comparison of everyones team by using ppg, apg, rpg and spg. That won't determine the best team. Only the best by stats. Plenty of intangibles will make for the best fantasy team.

Just to throw this out there, but the plus/minus stat per minutes played is a great number to gauge a players efficiency but it would be hard to find that stat especially with the older players.
I agree, this is a conversation for another time but you have to admit, it's gets the conversations going. I can see this thread going on for a couple of hundred pages lol lol lol lol.....
