Pretty obvious that neither want to come back. Cannot imagine Briscoe is going to be happy returning.

The peer pressure and the KY Effect for these kids to get out early is huge, IMO.

That was a make or break thing right there. Kentucky would've struggled without Briscoe.

There still might be some struggle ahead. Youth, shooting, etc. But Briscoe was essential for any hope we had at a title.

Kentucky isn't going to have a better backcourt than last year. We may not see anything like that again.

But defensively it's going to be a step up. Those are three DOGS in there with Fox, Monk, Briscoe. If we have any advantage over Duke it's that we're going to have guys who can take you out of a game.

On the flipside, it's going to be a work in progress offensively. Teams are going to back off and pack in.

I give credit to Briscoe for "testing the waters". He needed to in a big way. Now he knows exactly where he stands regarding his future in BB, the NBA in particular. I hope he comes back next year and plays lights out ball. Our team is so much better with him than without him. IMO, we have as good a shot at a NC than most teams.

Briscoe has tweeted that he is coming back. I'm pleasently surprised by this. I really thought he wasgoing stay in the pool.

1 down, 1 to possibly to go? I think if Lee returns its a win-win situation: he gets his disagree (if NBA or overseas doesn't pan out) AND never can't have enough shot-blockers.
