I don't dislike the guy. I don't really like him either. His ego is massive (most guys in his position have that). He's just always seemed like that full of crap salesman to me though. Wasn't bad when he won, but when he put his schtick out there when he wasn't performing it got real old, real quick. Like the other night when he said he didn't know who or where or when they play next... Does anybody buy that stuff? Total Bullcrap.

I'm in agreement with you. I was glad to see him go because he wasn't doing what he was being paid to do (coach winning bb).

Good news for Arkansas fans. Cal brought his son with him to PREP him as next head coach of the Razorbacks..

One major change with Pope: he's playing guys who are a little injured.
Andrew Carr's a good example. Carr would have *never* played for Cal (nor would he have ever been at Kentucky). With his back he would've been out for games. Cal was always in protect the asset mode...another nod to his staggering deference to the NBA.
Carr's out there for Pope. Because he's essential, and Pope knows winning games is essential.
When you're in the business of auditioning players, players missing games is really not that big of a deal.Comment

We'd also not really know that Carr is hurt. It'd be the same ol' mumbo jumbo where Cal hadn't seen him or whatever. One major change with Pope: he's playing guys who are a little injured.

Agreed. He's not as good as he once was but on that particular day our luck he will be as good as he ever was....👍 1Comment

At a really key moment in that game the other night, Davis got the ball, it's an absolute must-score for Arkansas, they're gonna have to rush it down court and get a basket and they're fine...and Davis dribbled it off his knee out of bounds. Nobody within 40 feet of him.
He's been to the foul line 13 times on the season.Comment
