One thing you notice on social media that's odd: Kentucky fans are conditioned into believing that players are gonna stay the same. That's a byproduct of Cal. In the old days (like in the '90s and part of the 2000s) we had several players who were radically different when they hit 20. Just otherworldly different.

These (mostly) young Kentucky fans have forgotten how it works in the game of basketball...and in biology. They seem convinced players are just gonna be flat across their careers. You look at these guys driving the bus on Final Four teams...they weren't anything like what they would turn out to be when they were freshmen. We've gotten so far away from that it's like the fanbase is kinda brainwashed.
Oh, 100% conditioned. Not to play the ol’ “wait till next season!” game already, but I’m eager to see what roster continuity might look like under Pope. Transfers are inevitable (unless you’re KU; wth?) but I’d like to think our “mass exodus” days are behind us.

What he's doing so far sorta looks like one of those old Tubby Smith teams.

Miami's Wooga Poplar is another guy who looks like he's slowly becoming a way different player than he was when he was 18. I sorta liked him when we played Miami, although they were garbage.

          I’d gladly take him.

The way this roster is taking shape, now we need that true one and done game changer if there's anyone out there.

            Could that be Johnell Davis?

Is he still on the market, how much would it take to get him?

Robinson is one of those guys.

Aidan Mahaney is probably not quite on that level...but close. The thing to remember about him is that he was playing in a system that grinded literally every possession. Watching St. Mary's play basketball is the equivalent of Dean Smith back in the day. Straight grind every single possession. Seeing a guy like that play in the zoom is highly intriguing.

                Didn't Davis go to Arkansas?

I'm thinking Robinson, Osobor,Mahaney and Davis.

We don't have too wait until 2030 to win,we can win now.

                      Wooga Poplar...

Did a little research, says he plays like a madman on the court, a college verson of Russell Westbrook..

                      At 6'5, good prospect..

                          Agreed.

Osobar Carr and Noah would help that cause.

Trent Noah? He's sorta big for a guard but not outrageously so.

I wasn't aware Kentucky was recruiting him.

No, I am talking about the kid you mentioned the other day that committed to Baylor now decommitted, the 7 footer from Tim Duncan's stomping grounds..

I thought it was Noah something, so many names tossed around can't keep up..

I think that guy's name is Noah Boyed.
