A week outfrom draft deadline and still only 7 players. I really thought we would have signed someone by now, that Cal really did have some contingencies in wings, as he said.. At this point I am at a total loss as to what is going on. What a nightmare.

It's obvious that he does have contingencies. We'll get Burke, Hart, Cyril and (probably) Reeves. That will give us an 11 man roster with guys who can ostensibly dribble and chew gum at the same time.
Whether you think that roster is sufficient to do what we want to do is another matter, and a fair debate.Comment

As a sidebar. Our thin team was at South Oldham High School today for a kids clinic. Dillingham was there. Edwards was for awhile, then he left. One that wasn't there was Cal.John 3:3

Yeah, unless he went home to think things over or something you have to think he'd have made an announcement by now. I'm inclined to believe the meeting didn't go well and/or he just had his mind made up to get out of dodge already and wasn't gonna be swayed.Comment
