Saw something a couple days ago that suggested the board, and the boosters, may be done with Cal. Andrew Slater then tweeted something about the boosters, so these rumors aren’t just coming from the UK fan base.

If true, those folks may be prepared to make it next to impossible for Cal to do his job, thus forcing him out.

Some have wondered if Cal has been “quiet quitting,” but if any of this is to be believed, he may be getting “quiet fired.”

MJ has mentioned several times recently that Cal has pretty much alienated himself from boosters, media, and pretty much everyone at UK. Has virtually no contact with Mitch, which Mitch contradicts with his recent statement. Regardless, Cal has certainly dug himself into a deep hole and I'm not even sure he can do much of anything to get out of it. The guy probably should've stuck to his 10 year job thought.

Apparently Marvin Stone's son, who played at Lafayette and is a manager at UK might get on the team.....per Ryan Lemond

My son played against him in high school. Didn't know it was Marvin Stone's son, though. That's interesting.

But this is...something. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this information.

Also, just a random thought about these OTE guys we're probably gonna get: it's strange but Overtime Elite plays very few games, for whatever reason. Jordan Burks did average 27 a game, which is impressive...but he did it in just 12 or 13 games.

Not sure why they play such a short "season."

He is a physical specimen and can play today, but he's 17.

I thought he was one of those dudes who’s significantly older than his listed age. Maybe I’m mixing him up with someone else, but I’m pretty sure I read that about him in an article from the first time his name came up a while back.

Yeah, all those foreign guys are likely way older than advertised. Remember that guy Cy Malonga? My son played AAU with him for a little bit and they stayed together at an event in St. Louis. Son swore Malonga was 25 and at the time he was in 8th grade.
