That’s been the one thing that has confused me. I thought a university had to make a job posting public before they could officially fill it.

I heard someone on KSR say this morning that it might not be officially announced until the end of the month because of that requirement.

That’s been the one thing that has confused me. I thought a university had to make a job posting public before they could officially fill it.

Technically the posting has to close before the hiring official sees the applicant pool. There is nothing to prevent having a list of preferred candidates and UK gives wide latitude in the hiring process beyond that. I thought it had to be posted for a minimum of 7 days but it might be shorter than that.

I don't think Skyy Clark ends up at UK. Was told this morning that, as of now, UK expects Clark to go to G league or look at other college options. They are going all in on Hardy for 2022.
