    Am I overthinking this?
Don't think you're overthinking it but this is just me personally, I'm worried about right now. What might happen with Skyy Clark seems so far in the future you might as well be talking about building supermarkets on the moon.

I just want this roster to be nailed down, and looking at it on April 15th it still doesn't really feel close.

It’s like trying to decide to buy a toy in a store or wait on the next one that may be better to come out 😄

New name out there: Mac McClung.

He'd be fairly popular in the Kentucky fanbase.

Heard about this one a few days ago. He’s a great scorer - very strong at the rim and great at drawing fouls - but not a stellar shooter and has never averaged more than two assists.

I don’t love him as a player really but he’s been around and he’s tough-nosed. We could do worse but he still doesn’t answer the PG question.

Of those players currently in the portal, is there a answer to our PG question?

Kinda surprised, I really thought he was gonna go the Zag route.

Carr is the most obvious. After him, there’s the Wyoming kid who just entered the portal, though it remains to be seen if he’ll draw interest from UK and vice/versa. A lot of folks hope McKinley Wright from Colorado will enter, and most are wishing for Zegarowski (and to a lesser extent Pippen Jr.) to remove their names from the draft and transfer to UK.

Carr is the most likely at this point, though I have no idea what, if any, impact Washington’s commitment would have on any of those guys.

Edit: Forgot De’Vion Harmon from OU. He entered today and UK reached out almost immediately.

Word is McClung likes the ball in his hands and doesn't look for others.

I will take McClung, Carr, Harmon , the kid from Colorado, any or all of them. They are all better than anyone we had last year, as would Powell have been, we need quality players, as many as we can lay our hands on because there isn’ t Much returning,

Any inside scuttlebutt on the fact that Zegorowski may not get drafted and how it may affect his decision. Chad Ford's big board doesn't have him even in the top 65. Obviously that can change in workouts but is he committed to the G-league even if he knows he may not get drafted?

I asked that question yesterday and haven't heard anything. It's the logical move, but we know how reliable logic is when it comes to these decisions.

I remain convinced that there's something to the Zeg/UK stuff, though. Not trying to get anyone's hopes up, but what we're seeing could easily have been expected by UK all along. Zeg isn't Cal's player, so he can't directly advise him to enter the draft, get feedback, and come back to college with specific goals the way he does with his own guys. I'd be willing to bet, though, that Cal still communicated that to Zeg in some form or fashion.

I know it feels like things are shaky, but in reality it's still pretty early. Plenty of time left to land a great PG.

James Akinjo, Arizona point guard, just entered the transfer portal. ALL HANDS ON DECK!

I’m mixed. Nice range, but had never shot better than 38% inside the arc, and he’s particularly terrible around the rim.

I’d rather have Wright from CO, who just landed transfer Mason Faulkner. Hoping that means Wright will soon be available.
