At the Big 10 tourney, Nebraska coach Fred Hoiberg left the game early and was taken to the hospital. He's been feeling sick all day, which makes you wonder why he even showed up to coach in the first place.

Both Indiana and Nebraska teams might have to be quarantined.

    Say bye-bye to March Madness.

Could someone explain to me how it is unsafe for fans to gather for a game but it is safe for the players and their families . Sorry CBS I know you paid almost 2 billion dollars for the TV rights to the tourney, sucks to be you right now BUT you have no right to force these kids to play in unsafe conditions so you can worship at your money alter. If one player gets sick anywhere in next 2 months NCAA hierarchy and CBS should be jailed for attempted man slaughter.

Are you really asking this question?

With empty arenas, there are 20-25,000 less opportunities for the disease to spread.

And still, if I read the stat sheet correctly almost 600 chances to spread the virus. Name ONE reason other than corporate greed we would take that risk.

No way all college games aren’t shut down tomorrow, after the nba ordeal tonight.

If we could reliably test in this country we’d probably be able to contain it a lot better.

To be honest, if over 100 universities yesterday announced they would do online only, it seems like money grab to have the kids, coaches, refs and families travel countrywide to play in empty gyms.

                    Pretty grim as well.

I seldom thought I'd say this, but shut it down, let everyone go home and give this season an asterisk along with participation point for everyone.

There is a book called End of Days by Sylvia Brown in 2008 that predicted this would happen in 2020

The PGA has been quiet so far. With the Players Championship getting underway right about now, I wonder what the PGA powers that be are thinking? Having all those people sitting in the stands and the ones that stand elbow to elbow watching can't be safe.

Reports this morning that seem positive: Restrictions in the Wuhan province reportedly are easing. Some essential production workers such as those in plants producing medicine are being allowed to return to work.

The death rate of Coronavirus in South Korea, which has tested extremely heavily, currently sits at .08%....which is in line with the death rate of the flu.
just a sobering note on death rate... even if the rate was equal to or slightly lower than the flu, the fact that there is no vaccine and the actual infection rate could get much higher naturally is a grave concern.

Not so great news for the US....since this nation seems to be one of the last infected, it follows that it may well be one of the last for this to run course.

Anyone seen numbers on densely populated areas like Mexico City?

Now that the virus is already here, yeah, sure, shut down travel to and from Europe.

Joe Rogan had an infectious disease expert on his program Tuesday. He said we're essentially at the very front end of this and it will get worse. He was talking about in China how they've been telling people to stay indoors for a period of time and how we're beginning to do that here and elsewhere as well. Essentially the increases may stall, but once people re-emerge from self quarantine the numbers of infected will rapidly resume upward.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
