    Totally understand the decision.

Part of me wonders if the Utah Jazz situation doesn't happen last night if they would've played the games this weekend, but something likely would've happened this weekend to shut the games down so in the end it doesn't matter.

I really look forward to conference tournament weekend all year. To me it's arguably better than the NCAA Tournament, because of the wall to wall basketball you get to see and the anticipation of Selection Sunday. Really disappointing to see it go away this year.

The Big East, surprisingly, says they will play their tournament.

I doubt.we see any basketball after what little plays this weekend.....c'mon folks....you're school is shut down but you travel the country to MAYBE get exposed to CV19 and put your near future....At the very least....At risk?

        Shut it all down.
thanks for some neat memories kids...that last one was REAL special. Good luck in the future.

AND what Will stated earlier is sound....everyone WORLDWIDE was caught flat footed on this. And to be honest, I have heard few meaningful theories on either side of a political aisle.
I doubt President to be Biden would have fared better. Obama didn't with N1H1. Neither would Reagan.
This thing is bigger than politics.
and it likely won't be the last.

Yall have a good summer. Sports is pretty much done. Keep your families safe.
fortunately so far small children do not seem to be targeted by this monster.

I absolutely think they would have kept playing if the NBA thing didn't blow up last night.

I just talked to a referee friend who is working the girls State Tournament at Rupp. They are currently playing with fans. Sacred Heart and Laurel County.

Weirdly, small children don't seem to be affected by this (thank God).

Oops, no, check this. The Big East just cancelled.

They had a game going on as the cancellation was going down, which seems like less than stellar planning.

Problem is, they'll be carriers without being very much asymptomatic. Quietly spreading it.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Yeah, all of us are potential carriers though.

Lot of speculation that Fayette Co. schools and Jefferson Co. schools will cancel until after spring break, at least. Announcement to be made later this afternoon.
