UT makes no sense to me. Why not just stay at VT then?

Two guys I talked to this morning says they haven't heard any reason to not think it's still UK but I am getting a a bit nervous now. Seems like everything says UT today.

I'm trying to find this myself, mainly because I tend to think Daniels is the best in the biz.

He might have been on a radio show yesterday or something? But if we're going off Twitter, it looks like the closest he came to saying it was in a response to our old friend Downes Van Zandt. When somebody tweeted that it was down to Tennessee and Kentucky, Daniels simply says, "I don't believe it is."

He may have said more than that but I can't find it.

He said he feels that based on his gut. So, it's nothing more than his opinion. If he said it based on sources it would be a different story.

He's usually very reliable, but in this case he says his "gut" is telling him it's between VT and Tennessee.

I'm not willing to throw in the towel until it's announced. So far, I've seen a lot of people make predictions based on no real information. And you know that Cal isn't talking to these guys.

Well, today came and went with nothing from Blackshear. No one knows anything definite. Yesterday it sounded like Blackshear would announce today. Until he says he's going somewhere other than UK, I'll still think it's going to be UK. Blackshear going to UK makes far more sense, based on what he's looking for, than anywhere else.

Jeff Goodman's tweet yesterday was the most interesting I've read.

He said that Blackshear changed his mind repeatedly during the NBA thing. Possibly gives you an insight into the fact that he might be one of these people who just doesn't like making these decisions and is legitimately torn.

It does sound like from reading around that he sort of wants to stay at Virginia Tech, and that Tennessee could be the only place that really swayed him to make the jump.

Unlike others, I think Tennessee makes a ton of sense for him.

I just assume we're not getting him and will hope to be wrong. If he wants to play and be a potential centerpiece of a team, UT makes a ton of sense.
