Very disappointing. Everything I had heard pointed to UK, but I guess he was sold on Florida being a title contender with him and being close to home back in Florida.

This definitely makes Florida a legit threat in the SEC, maybe the favorite. They are going to be really good.

Not really sure what happened with Blackshear. I was told the visit went great and the staff thought they had him.

Some folks on Twitter and on other boards are saying they heard the pickup games did not go well and Blackshear was concerned about how he fit in and how much of a focus he would be at UK. I don't know if that's true or not though.

Both Virginia Tech's website and ESPN have him at 6'10". DraftExpress has him at 6'11".

Well that makes a difference, i was under the assumption he was 6'8 based on alot of the reports. Losing him hurts but can't miss what we never had.....
