Bob Hazle who played for the Braves was "Hurricane" Reason I knew that was my parents name
      was Bob And Hazel.
Also there was a Smoky Burgess who was a catcher for the Pirates.

Hints: wrong sport and this guy played quite a bit before Parrish's time.

I thought it was Parrish too. I have no idea now.

You win the prize (although I'm not exactly sure what the prize is ). Allie was a Native American. I was never a Yankee fan, but I had an Allie Reynolds baseball card, at one time, and the nickname has stuck with me all these years.

How about Goose baseball player (not Gossage) but this Goose played for the old Senators (At least that is who I think he played for)

Mizell is correct. He was in politics after his playing days.

Goose Goslin. I don't what his first name was. He did play for the Senators when they actually had good teams.

Here's a more contemporary and easy one: Oil Can

I got this one. Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd. Cocaine using pitcher with the Red Sox, and probably another team or two.
