I keep wondering about Vanderbilt. Will he go if he never plays here? If he plays, will he still be perceived as an injury risk?

Well, barring some freak injury in practice, he WILL play here, probably by early December. As for your second question, who knows...

I worry a bit about repeat injuries with that kid. Hasn't that foot given him trouble twice already?

Think it's a different foot. At least a different foot from the one he hurt in the all-star game.

How many feet does he have?

Mark Coury played like he had three feet.

Darius Garland commits to Vanderbilt. One of the highest-rated players Vandy has ever landed.

                  The SEC isn't playing around.

                    Kid's good. Very creative passer.

Grimes is announcing on Wednesday. Looks like it's coming down to Kansas or Texas.

Talk is that Langford may do the same. Jerry Meyer among others thinks so.

Vandy’s also in great shape with Simi Shittu. Get all three and they’re in the conversation for the top class.

We’re probably #1 if we get Zion, but that’d still be a heck of a class for the Commodores.

Dook has the number one class for 2018, imo.

                              Yeah. Duh. Forgot about Reddish.

3 of the top 6-10 depending on source. I would have taken RJ and Cam Reddish over Zion and Keldon Johnson. Hope our guys make me look foolish as I don't follow the recruiting nearly as constantly as I used to (The Randle hangover is ruthless), but Duke got their top choices period .

Now for all I know Keldon might be fantastic and Zion might come out looking ready to take no prisoners, and in hind sight they end up complementing our returnees nicely. That's the hope, because that will likely be our best opportunity to hang one more banner before Calipari bows out.
