    He did transfer.

He's actually playing right now on ESPN2.

I plan on being at the KOB every session. Let me know if anyone's coming. Maybe we can meet up.

Think there's little doubt we get James Wiseman if you listen to him speak. Only question is when.

Trae Young, like Simmons and Fultz and some others before him, is showing that you don't have to play at a traditional power to be a star. He might be the frontrunner for the Naismith a month-plus into the season.

Hope that has no bearing on what Zion does.

You just get the feeling that Zion wants to stay close to home.

No idea if there is any truth to this but hoping this guy does actually know something.

                I highly doubt it.

Lots of Clemson buzz lately for Zion.

I think guys like Fulta, Simmons, Trae Young, etc... are starting to show you don't have to go to UK, UNC, Duke, etc...to get the limelight and to be a top pick. Not good news for UK and Cal.

Zion Williamson says he’s nearing a decision; unfortunately, according to recruiting experts, Clemson’s still the leader.  Both Rivals’ Corey Evans and the Herald-Leader’s Ben Roberts are reporting that Clemson continues to lead for Williamson, the five-star phenom primed to be the most exciting player in college basketball next season. “Clemson has gained the most talk of […]

If he goes to Clemson then Vanderbilt really needs to return. Have to have a game-rearranger at the 3/4.

And I've seen some UK fans saying we don't need him or his weight makes him a problem. Remember: similar things were said about Trae Young. Nobody wants to play with him. He's selfish. He's a gun. He's not a top five player anyway. Not a big loss.

Most UK fans have never seen these players play the game of basketball and have no idea what they're talking about. This would be a big loss and indicative of a strange thing happening in Kentucky recruiting. It probably would signal the end of the Cal era at UK unless he can right the ship drastically in '19.

Oddly though I think the Roy Williams-like way the roster is being constructed is a positive for UK going forward. We will be a contender next year with or without Zion, but if you get that guy it's a whole lot easier.

Is there an echo in here?

His recent, unprompted talk of retirement does nothing to make me think either of you are wrong.

I will always appreciate what Cal has done for us. He brought us back from the dead for sure. Here’s to hoping that Donovan and Pelphrey finally land in Lex and build a powerhouse!!

                              Not Pelphrey.

Why? He helped build the team BD had at UF. He’s doing a pretty good job at Bama. Not to mention he’s an unforgettable.
