Which expert?

Expert was in quotes. I don't know if he is any more of an expert than any of us. Guy named Joe Adams. Posts on Nation of Blue Facebook. I have no idea if he knows anything but he seems to have a lot of people believe in him

Anything is possible. Particularly after Knox I'm really hesitant to say anything definitively.

Tea leaves don't look good for UK for a few reasons.

* Johnson announcing Saturday.

* Duke sent their whole staff to see Barrett, and not long after it was reported that he was a Duke lean.

* Cal never made a last visit with him.

* Barrett's very lukewarm comments after visiting UK.

* Very few experts have intimated that it could be UK, only that it may not be 100% Duke. That's usually not a good sign.

None of this means he's definitely going to Duke, as I said, but I've seen recruitments before where all these things lined up against Kentucky and it ended up going the way most people thought it would. For all the situations like Knox you get 20 kids who end up doing what most think they're going to.

T.J. Walker just had an interesting video on Facebook Live.

Seemed pretty unsure all the way around, but did say that the people who told him Knox was coming to Kentucky believe Barrett to Kentucky.

Also said that there's somebody at TSN (the network that will carry the announcement) who believes it's Duke. Also others at TSN who think Oregon.

But he believes UK has a shot. Says what will generally happen is that UK's staff will get out word if they know they've lost the player so that can be leaked, and that hasn't happened in this one.

I hate to say this and I know it’s probably been mentioned before but Cal is starting to struggle on the recruiting trail for the top 10-15 ranked recruits.

We have three top 15 recruits on this team. Four last year.

Top five rankings, yes. Duke has lined up the #1 player in the last three classes and gotten him.

(Though some have Zion Williamson at 1.)

Duke has now gotten the #1 player in 4 of the last 5 classes. K has clearly surpassed Cal in terms of getting the very top talent each year.

Zion is an absolute must at this point or the 2018 recruiting class is a huge letdown.

I said this very thing to a friend, earlier. I’d love to have him back, but it’s tough given the current state of the game and the fact that some shady stuff went down at his last stop.
