Up until now, I couldn't tell you the last time I went a whole month without enjoying UK basketball.

Really believe the Cal to Cleveland stuff might be to blame here.

Think he was this close to jumping to the NBA and word got around. When it was floated that he would've gone had it not been for the twins, I think coaches found their ammunition.

When we lost seven guys it was easy to remind recruits and their families about that whole situation.

The only positive--and I'm not sure if you can call it that--in this whole thing is that Poythress should be pushed back to the 4, where he's much (much) better.

Odd that after Cal's two best teams/seasons at UK he has had a heck of a time getting guys. Just feels like there is something else going on. How would ALL of these guys pass on UK and Cal? He hasn't missed like this in his entire career.

It would seem that the staff focused in on the season at present and let up on recruiting. That's understandable and given what we were chasing...I'm fine with it. I think they're working feverishly on the class of 2016 where we ought to be able to haul A.
