Almost everybody Kentucky has been in on from the beginning is still out there.
I tend to think we get the Bryant guy out of Huntington Prep. Other than that it's hard to say. Zimmerman has been trending the other way for awhile, Malik Newman is an enigma, and nobody knows if Thon Maker is going to reclassify.
Sort of a weird class but it's clear some of these guys are waiting on Kentucky's players to decide about the NBA. It's going to be increasingly more difficult for us to pull in somebody like Newman with the Harrisons' NBA stock staying low.

I think as of now the only two in my mind that are 100% gone after this season are WCS and Towns. Then there are a lot of wild cards, Booker(who i'm really beginning to worry is going to leave since he seems to be a first rounder), Dakari, Lyles, and the twins.
It just really doesn't seem like the twins are going to be anywhere near first rounders, but that could change. Lyles could very likely be gone as well since he seems to be a first rounder. Dakari is on the edge, just seems to disappear some games.
I really think a lot depends on how this season goes....I think if we win it all, that any of these guys are told they are guaranteed first rounders will leave. If that happens then we may have a shot at Newman and Brown, but I think both of those guys are not willing to sit the bench so PT is going to be very important to them.Comment

Yeah, seen an interview with Newman and he said where ever he goes he wants to play a lot. The only way I think we see him with K E N T U C K Y across his chest is if the twins leave.Comment

Of course I would love to have Newman, but if he is really a "me" player, im not sure that will fly with Cal, unless he only has 5-6 players that he will play like the Noel year. But i'm confident that Cal will make sure to remind Newman that if he wants to take 30 shots a game, he should probably go elsewhere.

Newman was at LSU game last night and reports say he was blown away. He is very close with Simmons and Blakeney...if he ends up at LSU and Martin and Mickey return - wow, they will probably be preseason top 2-3.Comment

Well someone should inform Newman that its been close to ten years since they've had a crowd like that for a conference game, and that obviously it was only because of UK. Now if he wants to play in front of crowds like that every night you go to UK. But if you want to play in front of 8-9k people, than LSU is for you.

If Mickey and Martin stay LSU will be tough with or without Newman. Simmons is a freak athlete and Blakeney at times can be a Jodie Meeks type where he can score in bunches. Yeah, we need to get 1 or 2 of the last so many good recruits to come be a Cat.Comment

It's really going to be interesting how the whole Twins and Booker situation works out. It sure seems that Booker is enjoying college with his buddy Ulis, and being that he doesn't have much pressure to go to the league and make money right away, he might just come back. All just speculation on my part.
As for Newman, it sure seems he loves the spotlight, and where else is the spotlight brighter right now than at UK?Comment
