I think he's a pretty good candidate to, at least from what i've read, but it seems to be the consensus that he may not want to jump the gun. But if UK were to tell you that they want you to so you can play this year, it may be tempting.

He'll turn 19 during next season so a reclassify is likely. Generally guys don't want to be stuck in high school at 19 years old and be drafted at 20.

Very good size. I've only seen the one game but he put up a performance at the Hoop Summit that you rarely ever see. Would be a fantastic addition to this class if we can get him IMO.

If he reclassifies though, Duke is going to put on a mad push.

The "Cal push" is being made as we speak!!! Met with Murray, Maker, and Ingram in the last couple days and meeting with Diallo today....

Offered Mychal Mulder yesterday!!!

I have no doubt Cal will close the deal with 1 or 2 of these guys...

Should start to hear the inevitable rumors of where they all will be going this week and get some decisions maybe by the end of next week!

I don't think anybody has ever said UK's chances with Ingram were good anyways....

I believe Skal roomed with Diallo at the Jordan Brand Classic so maybe that will help Diallo choose UK. Fingers crossed.

@CoachEvWilliams: Kentucky has regained some momentum in the recruitment of Cheick Diallo. Two-horse race between St Johns. KU losing some momentum.

The fly in the ointment is that he would like to stay in school and play with his younger brother next season. Also, isn't there some question concerning his being eligible? I thought I read that some where.
