Those five, plus Deivon Smith, Osobor, and who knows who else. I’m high on Mahaney and would love to see Pope lock him up this weekend.

He did, but left open the option to return/transfer, and his activity thus far suggests he’ll remove his name. He turned down multiple offers from agents and seems to be in it for the process. Sisk et al. believe he’s coming to Kentucky.

Plus a strong staff. Sounds like the makings of a solid team. Hope it all materializes. If Pope puts a solid product on the floor in year one the floodgates should open to top talent pretty quickly. We still UK!

Obviously it’s ideal if you’re old, experienced and developed physically and mentally—and have played together for a while. But just being older and developed has to be better than young, inexperienced, accustomed to AAU ball and only biding your time before the draft.
