Kind of a prime reason I disliked the system Cal built. It isn't so much the Walls and Davis kids leaving that are frustrating, it's everyone else.

^ One not mentioned there is Dayton's Koby Brea. Would be a huge addition but have no idea if he's considering Kentucky.

^ Add David Coit, a 5'11" guard from Northern Illinois who averaged 21 a game last year.

Meanwhile BYU hires Phoenix Suns assistant Kevin Young to replace Pope. Seems like a pretty solid hire for them and I hope it doesn't mean he can lure the players in the portal back there.

By now Northern IL has to have UK on their list. Reeves and Cox (fb).

I believe Reeves came from Illinois State.

As frustrated as I am, still hopeful we can bring back both Reed and Thiero at this point. If the BYU big man comes to Kentucky, that's 3 that are pretty good to build around.

I mentioned earlier just clean house start all over but truthfully, I don't want to start completely over, hopeful to plug in a few pieces and make it work this year...

Thiero, possibly, Reed not a chance in my opinion. Reed has too much to lose and nothing to gain by coming back for another season. In my opinion, we may as well get used to the idea of a very lean season this coming season and, perhaps, the next as well.
