I don't wanna be the old man yelling at the clouds, but this version of CBB absolutely stinks. I'm so thankful I lived through the 80's-pre nil era. I have always been pro NIL and kids getting their slice of the pie, but it just ain't appealing to me, the way the games is played on and off the court. Maybe a coaching change will alleviate some of my angst in the future. Who knows.

I agree it's way different than what you mention. You know I've never liked any coach spending time he could be coaching, screaming at his players and officials, but that wasn't what I mentioned. When Cal doesn't have superior players at every position, he has proven he has issues. And in some way, nearly everybody on here has said so.

The main issue for me is having an almost entirely new team every season AND not even being successful and winning games and making tournament runs. I had no problem learning new faces every year if it also included winning big. Once the winning stops, everything changes.

Maybe Cal can put out a rumor the Celtics or Lakers are interested so he can run back to Mitch and up the Annie for another pay raise? This time he negotiates a clause that if something happens to him his wife and kids can reap the benefits of the lifetime time contract,be the first in history to get a Century contract smh....

The main issue for me is having an almost entirely new team every season AND not even being successful and winning games and making tournament runs. I had no problem learning new faces every year if it also included winning big. Once the winning stops, everything changes.

Meanwhile all kinds of guys are returning to their teams (to go along with the absurdity of what Jon Scheyer is accomplishing at Duke) and we are returning a whopping 4.8 points per game and have absolutely nothing at the 4 or 5 spots I'm confident in....
