Matt said Sankey is fine with it when he talked with him Sunday. He said it's just up to the schools to change it. Which I think they will.

C.J. Fredrick would be an interesting development if true. Cal hasn't had a lot of players like him, and if he's had them they haven't played a lot. Would take a sort of re-imagining on Cal's part of his system to see a guy like Fredrick jump on board here.

I think Cal is definitely down for that, as he said yesterday. The game's moving away from raw athleticism and toward skill. But it's one thing to say it, another thing to start incorporating it.

I'd say it's almost guaranteed that one of Fredrick or Powell will be coming. If Mintz comes back too, I'm very happy.

I hope it isn't an either/or situation between Powell and Fredrick. If I had to pick I'd rather have the former, but I'd love to have both.

Jones also said the ACC changed a similar rule they had in place - I'd imagine the coaches in the league will get it changed to avoid being at a competitive disadvantage.

I am also not interested in the nomination for governor.

                    Same thing.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

I hope this is happening. Good riddance.

So let's say Barbee gets the Fordham job. We don't really benefit from hiring a new person for his role; the way to improve through staff additions is through a new bench coach who can recruit. I mentioned this elsewhere, but would Bruiser move into Barbee's current role, opening up a spot for a new assistant?
