In the mirror world we could have been living in, there are about 10 minutes to go in our game against Tennessee. We're up by 8 but should be up by 20. Fulky's energy is hurting us. The Kentucky crowd is trying to will us to the win. Crazzed's sawzalling apart his entertainment center.
I can almost see it.👍 4Comment

Yep. And the girls too obviously. They've worked for this chance for years.
One thing I think about are the boys who were supposed to play in the Sweet Sixteen.
Imagine you're one of these small schools who hasn't been in awhile. You finally have the team to get there, you know it's probably your last shot for many years, and then it's cancelled.
My alma mater hasn't been since 1984. My son's high school has never been. To get a shot to play in Rupp Arena for a state title only to see it get completely scrubbed would be something that would likely haunt me for the rest of my life were I a player or coach on one of those teams.Comment

Reminds me of all of those Olympian’s in 1980, working their whole lives for a shot at gold to have it snatched away by one mans impotent gesture. I knew one of the Olympic marathoners on that team. He ran with a running club I was in on occasion. He did not make the team in 84, was very bitter about it afterwards.Comment
