Responsible folks are not the problem now because they are abiding by what we are asked to do. It's the idiots who are causing more closures and, if it happens, a complete shut down. For instance, today my wife had an appointment with our cardiologist. We found out she needs a pacemaker. We also had to stop by and pick up her new glasses. They have signs up everywhere asking folks who want to try on glasses, to see a staff person who will put those touched glasses in a basket to be cleaned before they are put back. This lady ignored the signs and put several pairs back without even looking at staff. The manager said a man came in earlier and brought 5 kids with him and when he was asked to have them wait in the car, he said he didn't care because this was all a hoax anyway.John 3:3

The infection numbers will go through the roof for a week as the testing gets rolling full force. Reports today that South Korea and China had good treatment success with an anti viral that has been FDA approved for years. Hopefully that's solid info.
one case reported today in two neighboring counties....and I am sure there are hundreds more, mostly mild cases that people brush off as a cold, flu, allergy.
which is a reason this virus has the capability of spreading more quickly.
Most people have followed directions....except those hundred people packed in lines at the checkouts or paper goods aisles. I worked at WalMart as an assistant manager AND managed a grocery. Just as happy I'm not there now.👍 1Comment

Unfortunately the terrible stories (and videos) linger in our mind so much more.Comment

Will is right. Negativity stays with us more than the good stuff, that is unfortunately the way man's culture has always been. We are more likely to believe sin than Blessings. We need each other now more than ever. We need each other to pray for our world, our country, our state, our cities, our families and our homes. While I don't agree with everything our leaders stand for, I pray for God's guidance for them as they make decisions during this crisis. Just maybe this is another way our Heavenly Father is using to get our attention. Like a Loving parent leads their children through dark times to make them better, our Loving God allows us to go through tough times for our betterment. If you're a believer, you understand. If you're not, you have your own opinion.John 3:3

There are positives here and there....two common FDA approved drugs have shown positive results in treating the patients that are hospitalized with CV-19.
in the United States, there is going to be a bizarre good/bad news.....as testing ramps up, confirmed cases will skyrocket for a time. However, the mortality rate, if it holds pattern as it did in S. Korea and China, will plummet
the Korean rate is similar to H1N1 fatality, current Chinese numbers are around 1.5 after running over 5 percent.
Current US mortality is around 1.3.....that's more than double H1N1.....but the silver lining is that if this rate drops, people will calm somewhat.
The fear is that if either drug, or both are effective....that is NOT a vaccine....it is a treatment. If people believe this is beaten down too early, we could see a resurgence.👍 1Comment

Just had a sobering experience. Tuesday took paperwork to get taxes prepared. Yesterday the lady called and told me to come by today at 10:30am to pick them up. I went and the office was closed. I called and she told me the office was closed due to "contact with the virus".Comment
