There are antiviral meds for viral diseases such as Shingles and HIV. But typically we don't develop "cures" for viruses such as the flu or common cold. We usually try to prevent spread of such diseases with altered behavior and vaccines. The diseases then typically run their course and usually only kill those who are otherwise compromised. So...yes...we need a vaccine ASAP.

The SEC has announced that starting tomorrow: no fans at tournament games. As have a bunch of other conferences and the NCAA.
