#32 Trevard Lindley, who happens to be married to my Wife's cousin. Saw him at a wedding of another of her cousins this past weekend. Great guy. Will never forget his interception against #1 LSU in that monumental upset. Had a drink of water with the Eagles.

32 Trevard Lindley, CB (2004-2008)
Hiram, GA (Hiram HS)
Lindley was a second-team All-American as a junior and a consensus first-team All-SEC choice. He had four interceptions and 11 pass breakups, leading the SEC in pass breakups per game. He holds the UK career record for pass breakups with 34. He started every game of his collegiate career, 39 consecutive, through his junior season.
Lindley was chosen the nation’s No. 1 cornerback by Lindy’s College Football preseason magazine and was a first-team preseason All-America selection for the 2009 season by NationalChamps.net. He was also a first-team preseason All-SEC pick by the media and league coaches as a senior.
He ended his Kentucky career with a bit of a disappointing year where he only played in nine games, but was still named second-team All-SEC.
Lindley totaled ten interceptions over his four seasons in Lexington, and returned two of them for scores. That puts him among the all-time leaders for the Wildcats.

Drafted 2010: Rd 4, Pk 105 (PHI)

32 Eli Brown, LB (2015-17)
Bowling Green, KY (Warren East HS)
Scout ranked him the No. 1 outside linebacker in Kentucky and the second-best overall prospect in the state. ESPN listed Brown as the 15th-highest outside linebacker in the nation. Chosen to the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Member of Courier Journal's 2014 All-State Football Team and earned 2014 Herald-Leader Class of the Commonwealth status, along with being a 2014 Associated Press All-State First Team selection.
As a sophomore in 2017, he recorded a career-high six tackles on Sept. 16 at South Carolina, then again on Sept. 30 vs. Eastern Michigan. He added one tackle for loss in each of those contests.
Left UK to return to Bowling Green to be near his sisters so he could serve as their guardian.

32 Rod Stewart
MVP of the 1976 Peach Bowl win over #18 North Carolina (9-2), with over 100 yards rushing and 3 TDs.
He suffered a gruesome leg injury in 1977 that was a big part of how and why Kentucky lost its only game of that 10-1 season, in broiling early season heat at Baylor.Last edited by Old School; 07-29-2025, 06:59 PM.👍 2Comment
