That's a lot of Randall Cobb! Always a guy I pull for in the pros now. What a runner he was for UK.

Sorry to bring back a bigger number. Cumberland high school didn't produce that many good athletes that went to big programs like UK. So I thought I would bring this one in that went to UK back in the 1950's. This is Ron Cain. He played at UK from 1956 to 1959 and was a very good player. He was drafted by Denver and I always heard he was their final cut in 1960. As far as I know Cain never tried to play in the pros again after that. He went on to become a very good high school coach. He won a number of state championships at Seneca. He later coached at Cumberland in the 1980's. He was Maggard's coach when they got to the Class A state finals. Cain passed away quite a few years ago.
