A sports station in Knoxville gives the football count down starting with 100 days.
It goes like this, "its 100 days until football time in Tennessee".
Next day 99 and etc..

There's not a thing wrong with that, in my opinion. That kind of passion is one of the reasons their program isn't broken very often, and when it is, they move quickly to fix it.

Haha I guess I can see that. To us though, you can't hear that phrase without hearing it in the voice of the great Vol radio announcer John Ward. We used to mute the tv and listen to him call the game on the radio. He is very much missed throughout Vol Nation.

Watching the Hawks in the playoffs will hold me over for a little while but after that I will be chomping at the bit for football season!

I would listen to UT games some back in my growing up days in Kentucky. Ward was one of the best. He was right on par with Cawood as an announcer.
