Freddie Maggard

One of the best athletes Cumberland High School ever put out. He could play any sport well. He was also drafted in baseball. So his arm was pretty darn good. He got Cumberland to the Class A state finals his senior year. Also was on a baseball team that got to the state semi finals. His dad was a star basketball player at Carr Creek high school. He hit a couple of winning shots in the state tournament one year in the 50's.
