There has been plenty of other years UK has been better and come away with an L. I don't see it happening this year either. In the LHL they had a truly horrible stat for UK. Since 1978 UK is 10-108 against Florida,Tennessee and Georgia. That 40 years of futility for the most part. That's three teams you have to beat, at least sometimes, if you expect to have any respect in the conference.

With regard to Louisville, depends on which team shows up. They seem to be a fragile lot, mentally. It'll be interesting to see how they do with their remaining schedule after the Clemson beat down. They didn't beat the spread against Kent State and their second offensive unit could not score on one of the worst (if not THE worst) teams in D1 football.Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

I think 6 wins is likely, don't think we are getting to 7 and certainly not to 8 or 9.
Eastern - W, 4-1
Mizzou - W, 5-1
Miss St - L, 5-2
Tennessee - this is THE game now. Win and 7 is likely but I am not sure UK wins this. L, 5-3
Miss - L, 5-4
Vandy - W, 6-4
Georgia - L, 6-5
UL - L, 6-6Comment

Eastern Mich Ranked 79 Kentucky ranked 38 WIN Home
Mizzou ranked 109 Kentucky ranked 38 WIN Home
Ole Miss Ranked 71 Kentucky ranked 38 WIN Home
Vandy ranked 43 Kentucky 38 Loss at Vandy
UT ranked 36 Kentucky 38 Home WIN
Miss State LOSS at State
UGA Loss at UGA
Louisville very winnable game. Have to wait and see.
So right now we are 3-1 with what i have above we could very well be 7 and 5 or 8 and 4.
Going to keep the faith until the team has major injuries or shows otherwise. This team is not perfect and could have lost South Miss game but did not, could have lost at USC but did not. So GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!Proverbs 25:24👍 1Comment

I think 6 will happen fairly easily. Need both of Ole Miss and Vandy to get to 7. But Vandy concerns me. Then beat either UT or UL to get to 8. I think all 4 of those are winnable games and it's nice that 3 of the 4 are at home.Comment

Part of the problem is that, in a sense, you can never really recover from a loss like Florida. If we win 5 games, we will know it should have been 6. If we win 7 games we will know it should have been 8. If we win 11 games, we will know it should have been 12.
I am having a very tough time swallowing this pill.👍 1Comment

If Kentucky football history is anything to go by, we'll lost one of the games we're supposed to win, be strangely competitive in one of the games we're supposed to lose (and still lose), and toss-ups for most of the rest. With that said, I see it playing out like this:
Western Mich. (play poorly, but W)
Missouri (convincing W)
Mississippi State (we'll L in a brutal fashion)
Ole Miss (we'll L this one at home, when we're supposed to win)
Tennessee (we'll W this, even though we should expect to lose)
Vanderbilt (we'll W in a blah game)
Georgia (we'll be strangely competitive, but L)
Louisville (we're not beating Lamar Jackson two years in a row. L)
And a bowl loss.
7-6. Disappointing finish, all things considered. But a minor miracle in comparison to where Stoops started, I suppose.Comment

That's literally never how it goes unless that crucial loss is the very last one. If there are other good wins to cover up the bad loss, we'll get over that L Saturday. Put it in the bank.
Right now, though, it's too fresh and it feels like that game is the only one we've ever played.Comment

UK had better win the next two weeks or six wins will probably be impossible. But it wouldn't surprise me a bit if they go out to Mizzou and lose. And no they ain't beating Tennessee. Tennessee could put a bunch of walk on's out there and beat Kentucky every year. UK is as psyched out against them as they are Florida. It will take a complete fluke to beat either such as playing a WR at QB.
We can absolutely win all our remaining games. We just played the toughest game on our schedule toe to toe with the two-time reigning SEC East Division champs. Truth be told, without the bogus holding call we win that game in spectacular fashion even with the numerous, self-inflicted mistakes.
Will we win out? It's not likely but the three games that could keep us from that are the @ games. @ Georgia, @ MSU and @ Vandy - in that order. The rest will be Cat wins. If Saturday doesn't convince fans that we have for real SEC talent and a QB with ice in his veins - putting us again in position to win when everyone in the stands had given up. If UK fans don't believe in this team after watching the players continue to believe in themselves, they certainly need to rethink their conclusions.👍 3Comment

If we go out to Mizzou we certainly will lose as that will be a 1-0 forfeit.
