    That's all you've got?

OK - that's you're opinion. Mine hasn't changed since before the season and it's documented - on this board.

Here's a few questions for you. When was the last time we beat Georgia? When was the last time we beat Georgia on the road? How many times have we beaten Georgia in the last 30 years? Now answer the same questions regarding Florida.

I'll hang up and wait for your answers.

What does what's happened the last 30 years have to do with the players putting on the uniform this year? I don't believe any of the players on this year's team were Wildcats the last time we beat either team but I could be wrong. Georgia is a legitimate top 15 team. Florida isn't.

And, we've only beaten Georgia five times since 1986. Not quite dominating the series.

Excuse me, I just saw the updated rankings. Georgia is top ten currently. There's no way a top ten team on the road is easier than a top 25 team at home in front of a sold out stadium with said top 25 team missing, what, 13 scholarship players? Streak or no streak. Can we beat Georgia? We can, but my money is on the Bulldogs.

Truth be told, without the bogus holding call we win that game in spectacular fashion even with the numerous, self-inflicted mistakes.

Will we win out? It's not likely but the three games that could keep us from that are the @ games. @ Georgia, @ MSU and @ Vandy - in that order. The rest will be Cat wins. If Saturday doesn't convince fans that we have for real SEC talent and a QB with ice in his veins - putting us again in position to win when everyone in the stands had given up. If UK fans don't believe in this team after watching the players continue to believe in themselves, they certainly need to rethink their conclusions.
How do you figure the Vandy game is tougher than Georgia?

That my fault on Mizzou. For some reason I thought it was on the road. My point still stands. That's one of those games nearly every year UK loses that they should win. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if they did in that one.

First of all, Georgia is the toughest game on the schedule, not Florida.

Secondly, all Saturday convinced me of is that while we have quality talent and depth, we're still Kentucky and will find ways to lose. Until they prove me wrong, I'm not getting excited again.

Where is Uncle Dave? I'm waiting for his game breakdown. I don't know how good Florida is. I know they are improving. I also think we are improving. SJ really impressed me with his passing, and we've not dropping balls like we have in the past few years. Our defense is pretty solid outside of two awful mental errors ... and that should be shared with the coaches. I doubt if it will happen again. If it does I'll likely have a stoke. So my prognostications lean toward the same one as RV. RV seems to have turned the corner. His posts for the last several years have been pragmatic. He throws football "reality" around like a 2x4. I, too, don't think there is a game on our schedule we can't win ... even Georgia at Georgia. I'm not sure how Miss State will pan out and Vanderbilt just got kicked ... a couple of notches up from getting a switching wearing shorts. I don't think there is a sure win on the teams we will face. I understand that Eastern Michigan has one of the best or the best QB we will face this year. We better not sleep walk into this Saturday. They all can be tough games. Ole Miss has some serious skill on the offensive side of the ball. It will take several more games to know the quality of teams we will be facing the second half of the season.

Just to throw this in there...
Florida won the SEC east the past two years with the same type team UK played. Yeah, I know....suspended players....with 4 and 5 star kids waiting behind them.
                  these Cats had them beat.
we can say that how many times over the past three decades? 3? 5 maybe?

I believe we are getting there.....and this is as tough a bunch of fighters as I have seen top to bottom at Keentucky in years.
we've taken more than baby steps.

I'm proud of these young guys.

You said "in that order" and listed Vandy after Georgia. ???

You still haven't answered my questions. Don't know the answers or do you think they might prove my point?

Doesn't matter if we lose to Georgia. That won't make them the toughest game/team on our schedule. The fact that we beat the Gators and still didn't get the win ought to give some folks a clue.

Feel free to go back and look at my post. It clearly states that we have only beaten Georgia five (5) times since 1986. The last was, I believe, 2009. Not exactly dominating that series. So, back to my point, no one on this staff or on this team was a Wildcat when we beat them last. I also asked questions that you didn't answer. Afraid that they'll prove my point? Streak or no streak, it has no impact on today's game or the players who put on the jerseys. Some Florida players admitted to not knowing anything about the streak. They don't care. Do you think we left two receivers uncovered because of the streak? Think the officials missed the play clock penalty because of the streak? No and no. Georgia is higher ranked, it's in their house, and they have one of the best running backs in the country. This isn't a border line top 25 team missing two dozen scholarship players in front of a sold out crowd with one of the best atmospheres we've had at home in years. There's your answers, again.

This argument is fun and all, but does anyone have thoughts on the best way for fans to communicate support and appreciation for the CMS, staff, and players. Email, call-in shows, twitface?

It is something I started thinking about during all of the post-game venting last week. It all that stuff white noise anyway? I wish there was an official channel for fans to express their gratitude for a hard-fought game that is evidence that our program is on the rise.

Because we're not playing teams in the past? This is a bad argument.
