The league also had : Bear Bryant, Vince Dooley, Pat Dye, Bill Curry, Steve Spurrier, Lou Holtz, Mark Richt, Johnny Majors, Jerry Claiborne, why would the former coaches of Mich. St., Ok.St., and Bowling Green make any difference in the SEC this year. Coaches come and coaches go. an I think only a couple of those above made is name outside of the SEC, and they didn't do too much inside the SEC.

After last night, I dare anyone to say with confidence that we're going to beat UT and UofL.

I've never said, with confidence or otherwise, that we'd beat either one, but I do feel we have a better chance of beating either than we did of beating Fl.

Thing is, six wins with this team isn't a very good season. This team is built to win more in this league against this schedule.

If it is six then you take that and hope to keep building. But just six would be a systems failure. We're better than that. Even after last night I think we can get to 7. Hopefully they learned some lessons after the way they played the second half.

No offense, Downes, but Tennessee could be a dumpster fire train wreck by the time they come to Lexington.

If we don't win that game (soundly), I think there's been an epic collapse somewhere.

I'm still hoping for eight, and for three quarters last night, it looked like we could compete for ten.

Anything less than eight, in my opinion, is a failure with this talent and against this schedule.

I don't doubt this for a second. But they're still UT, and we still lose to UT every single season (with one recent aberration), just like we lose to UF every. Single. Season.

The only constant in Kentucky football is that they will find a way to rip your heart out.

To the op, I think we stand a good chance to beat E. Mich, Vandy, TN, and Ole Miss. I think we can beat Miss St. UL, and GA.

UK had better win the next two weeks or six wins will probably be impossible. But it wouldn't surprise me a bit if they go out to Mizzou and lose. And no they ain't beating Tennessee. Tennessee could put a bunch of walk on's out there and beat Kentucky every year. UK is as psyched out against them as they are Florida. It will take a complete fluke to beat either such as playing a WR at QB.

We are better than UT and I think it's rather obvious. Play to win and not to lose and we will win 7-8. Do it not and it's 6 wins. The staff, particularly Gran, needs to take a long look in the mirror.

Just info....Gran in his post game statements said he would not change his mind about running the ball in the second half.
which is odd since he also said the three and outs cost us.......which happened when we junked any semblance of a pass.

                      once again. Head scratcher.

There's lots of things I don't understand, such as why more plays weren't called for King and Bowden. Their speed seemed to bother Fl. And don't even get me started about C.J. The guy has hands of velvet and velcro and he's harder to stop than a runaway freight train, and he gets two or three touches a game.

I feel the same way. I don't know if that is the intent and FL took it away or if the focus is on plays with personnel being a secondary concern if at all.

All right, out on a limb here. I would say as of last night UK is the third best team in the East. Because of the questionable way we lost last night's game, I would almost be comfortable saying UK is the second best team in the East.
as of this second, Georgia is the only team I believe that is a 'better' team.
these Cats and coaches just have to realize that and play like it.

From coach Grans post game comment, the decision was made that halfway through the third that UK would grind it out, no matter how well SJ was doing.
seems all the coaches are convinced the power run is it. Period.

                              last night at least.

I agree. 2nd best based on what we have seen although I suspect like UF, UT has more talent.
