Things or sayings that are annoying

A lot of my pet peeves involve driving. Another one is these people who come at you the wrong way in parking lots and you have to move over to let them squeeze through. One morning I had just parked at the Corbin Wal-Mart. I was either the second or third vehicle from the end. I looked to my left (the direction any vehicles should have been coming from) and stepped out from behind the vehicle next to mine. At that very moment, here came someone in from the wrong direction and came within an eyelash of hitting me.

I think parking lots are getting as dangerous as driving. I park as far away from the door as I can. Have to be careful dodging cars but that is better than dodging cars

One thing that irritates me is when someone,usually an athlete, is being interviewed and they start off every answer with "you know". No I don't know. That is why you are being asked a question.

Just to add to this. If a woman is doing the interview and the answers all start with "Man, you know". I'm no genius but I can tell that Erin Andrews is not a man.

I'm sure I have many pet peeves, people that are full of themselves and air it frequently is one. I think one of my biggest peeves though is people who talk really loud in restaurants, that really bugs me. The people that do this come in various forms but the majority of the time it's the type of person I mentioned earlier. BTW Cathy. thanks for posting this topic.

People who mix up "idea" and "ideal". Drives me nuts.

Another one is misusing "literally" when they mean the exact opposite.

The need to declare anything and everything the best or worst or *insert adjective* ever, as if today's society is desperate to bear witness to and claim a moment in history.
