Briscoe frustrates me,, can get to the rim anytime he wants but has to hit freethrows,,,,,,, man,, what is wrong with him not being able to shoot from the line?

And the silver lining of this game, Murray actually had a off game and we still almost pulled it out on the road.. I sure in the hell like this team chances alot better than i did a few weeks ago....

Me too. Thank goodness for Ulis. He's the best PG in the country and I don't care what anyone says. All we are missing is capable bodies down low. Can you imagine if we just had Dakari? But we don't and I can take my medicine.

Johnson was a guy who could actually score in the post and take pressure off these guards.

Back to Ulis, if you could see his face after he turned that ball over, it kind of shook him up and i don't think he could believe it, you could see it written all over his face. Regardless, his mid range is super tight and money all day long, great player for sure............

We didn't lose the game because of the officiating, we lost because of our inability to close out games thus far.

People have different memories of Dakari than me.

I remember him as fairly immobile and a bit slow with a tendency to play below the rim. Of course a year can make all the difference, and compared to what our frontline currently consists of, nothing could be worse.

I'm just not sure that Dakari would be cure for all ills this year, although he would help out.

Right. But the comforting thing is that the twins' first year, we didn't learn to close out games until the very end. Same for the Brandon Knight year. Stay healthy, and the pieces are there for this team to figure it out.

We get that he made a mistake. You've proved he's human. What we all want to know is why you wouldn't want the ball in his hands again in that situation.

Dakari had to play behind a freak last year and I think it hurt his confidence a little.

The Dakari that emerged in the NCAA Tournament two years ago would make this team a top five team.

So many times in that game last night we needed somebody we could throw the ball into on the block. But we obviously have nobody who can get a tough basket for us down there, so you end up with a lot of tough shots from the guards.

Dakari would totally, completely rearrange this team.

I realize a lot of fans, players and coaches aren't in to moral victories (neither am I for that matter) but to go to the Phog and lose a game we should have won has to be a confidence builder for this team.

So close. Just think.....2 or 3 weeks ago, we were thinking this might be an embarrassing loss. The fact that it came down to the last shot makes it painful to lose. But.....there is a lot of season left. Where will this team finish in the SEC? Surely in the top 4.

No, teamchemistry is right, those are terrible analogies. Failure at an attempt to be clever. Your use of fallacy is to direct our attention to your analogies, which are so "out there" that they can't even be argued in the same context of a basketball game, so we can't respond appropriately.

Your thinking is that when you put the numbers 47 and 22 together, that in and of itself should tell you something was going on. The harsh reality, as much as you may not like it, is that our guys are foul magnets and never change how they play to stop fouling.

It's not hard to understand. The refs aren't blowing their whistle disproportionately for any other reason than the fouls Kentucky committed, for the most part, were clear and obvious.

If we don't finish top 4 in the SEC, then we probably will be going to the NIT.
