Again. Please go through the game, play by play, and count the fouls. We fouled them a lot more than they fouled us. It isn't that hard to comprehend.

How did we give it away? We got beat, we went on a long drought which killed us. There are so many ways to look at this game. You cant look at one play at the end and say that's why. I don't know you are doing that but I disagree we gave away the game. We were tied at the end of regulation and went into overtime short handed.

Bottomline, it's about taking advantage of a opportunity when the taking is there and the taking was there. One play doesn't change the game but when it's at the end and it's win or lose, it's changes the game period............

Great, exciting college basketball game.

I'm sure everybody's made similar points but one thing about this Kentucky team is that they aren't great defensively. No shotblocker that Cal's teams always have, and that allows teams to get to the basket and score on us in ways we just haven't seen much since Cal's been here.

That said, the defensive breakdown that gave Selden the three was the play of the game.

Also thought they protected Perry Ellis quite a bit, but that wasn't the reason we lost.

Tyler Ulis struggled a little when the defense made some adjustments, but he put together about as good a 10 minutes as I've ever seen anybody in a Kentucky uniform do it at the end of the first half. Ungodly.

May be the best ball handler in the country but he's not the guy you want taking the last shot unless it's getting kicked to him. You isolate Murray, spread the floor, and let him do what he does period...

You are the only person in the world who wouldn't have put the ball in the hands of Ulis in that situation.

I'll tell you how good Kansas was.

That Ellis guy? Yeah. The one that picked up the two early fouls and had to sit for a big portion if the first half? He was so smart, and so well coached, that he played the entire second half, and overtime, and only committed one more foul.

I mean, when you're beaten by the better guy, you just have to admit it, don't you?

Kentucky was so bad that they only had ONE PLAYER finish the game with less fouls than Ellis.

Kentucky was so bad that they had 4 players get called for,... (cough) I mean commit (because, you get called for the fouls you commit, right?), as many fouls as ****ALL TEN**** Kansas players that played.

And your right about Ulis,, there was a stretch where that kid was flat out ballin and no one could stop him period..............

But ULIS was hindered going to the basket many times and there were no calls. Do not think this game was called that great in the 2nd half. Not terrible but not great.

Ulis went in there late in the game and got a tough two and got murdered.

Ellis got a foul on Kansas' last possession and didn't get hit nearly as hard.

RADICAL difference in the way they let the two teams play. There were two late calls very close together, including the Derek Willis over-the-back, that I thought the officials let the crowd call for them.

Terribly officiated. Which is kind of what you get on the road.

But I'll also say that Bill Self coached a hell of a game. A triangle and two? LOL.

For the love of God look at the replay. Murray was standing there on the wing with no one around, after the turnover Ulis yelled at him, then Ulis yelled at the bench while throwing his arms up in frustration, and even Bilas wondered what in the heck Murray was doing standing there. What in the world makes you think Ulis was supposed to take the last shot? I am dying to hear a reasonable explanation.

Have you not seen this kid get to the rim and get his shot off when he wants this year???????????????????????????????????????

Ulis is a facilitator first and foremost, Murray is your scorer, the guy you give the ball to when you need a bucket..............

I'd question the sanity of any Kentucky fan who's not a Ulis fan. Holy Lord the guy's a freak of nature.

The play they were running there was to get the ball to Murray. He's the guy you want to shoot that. Ulis made a bad play. It happens. He only made a couple in 45 minutes of action.

If Murray is your scorer why didnt he have more than Ulis? When we needed a play made the ball ran through Ulis. Just like it has all year. Murray hit a few open 3s and has finally learned to stop his drive and pull up at mid range. Ulis did what he wanted all game. You don't take the ball out of his hands.

Someone please start a poll asking who should've had the ball to start the play at the end of the game.

Which is what i am trying to explain to dude on here. Ulis played great but he turned the dame ball over at the wrong time, period!!!!!!!! Like Ulis but it coughed it up, chocked, whatever you want to call it at the end..............

He's a freak of nature but he's not your go to guy when you need a bucket. On this team, it's Murray......
