Just got home after watching the game at some friends house. I haven't read a single post yet, but I bet there are several blaming the officials for the loss. I will be watching the game again either tomorrow afternoon or on Monday, and I'll post my thoughts then. Right now I'm disappointed with the loss, but very proud of the way they played through adversity. The Cats grew up a lot tonight, and I expect the results to help them down the road. It was a very hostile environment and KU looked like they were trying to give the game away, and we just couldn't get over the hump.Comment

I don't see how anyone can be that upset over losing in overtime to Kansas at Kansas. We can play with anyone, that's what matters at tourney time. We played very well. There are good losses and bad losses, That one wont hurt us. If anything an overtime loss at Kansas will be viewed as a valiant effort.Comment

See post 221 where you said yourself Ulis is our best ball handler and one of the top point guards in the country. He knows how to play ball and was expecting that super talented NBA prospect Murray to be smart enough to slightly move without the ball in his hands. Murray is our best shooter. Why not have someone, who has been getting to the lane all game, drive and kick? The play was there, Cal called it correctly, Murray just didn't execute.Comment

It was a very direct, yet polite, dismissal of arguments that might tend to disqualify opinions that officiating DID indeed have an effect on the outcome of the game. As the officiating did indeed affect the mathematics of the game.Comment

Your failure is in the interpreting the analogy as one of the sport in it's application. The analogy is in representation of the mathematics.

Still, that's not what beat Kentucky. Kentucky beat itself by going that long stretch in the second half with empty trip after trip on the offensive end period....
I like Ulis and he played a great game but in the end, dude turned it over and cost us a chance at the end of regulation, no excuse..Comment

of course officiating had an impact on the outcome of the game. They have an impact on every game because without them it would be whoever has the dirtiest players wins. No one has said they didn't have an effect, just that they weren't calling an unfair game. The officials effected the game because we fouled them a lot more than they fouled us. No analogies needed.Comment

Of course it did and if anyone couldn't see that, need to get some eyes checked. Kansas went to the line 47 freaking times

How did we give it away? We got beat, we went on a long drought which killed us. There are so many ways to look at this game. You cant look at one play at the end and say that's why. I don't know you are doing that but I disagree we gave away the game. We were tied at the end of regulation and went into overtime short handed.Comment

He wasn't supposed to take the shot. He was wanting to pass it to Murray.Comment
