I'm not involved with managing this site, but this post would get you banned if I was. There is no call for this on multiple levels.

Here's the problem I have. I honestly, truthfully, 100% believe that the University of Kentucky fan base has been guilted into accepting mediocrity. We have been told by other fan bases and by media outlets like Sleepers Media that we have unrealistic and overbearing fans that don't deal with reality. And they have been successful in saying that because now we are willing to bend over backwards to accept a coach who we know is not going to be much more than a mediocre coach just as a way of saving face and showing how tolerant we are. Sorry, but I don't want to assume that the program will once again return to elite status because we paid our dues by accepting mediocrity for a period of time. It's been shown time and time again that some programs (UCLA and Indiana) never do recover.

I have to agree with this and honestly, it started with Calipari subliminaly calling us crazy so he could deflect eyes off him because he had good players and still sucked plenty of times..

I don't say much anymore because after 20 plus years on this site, im tired of worrying about a bunch of 18-22 year old anyways.

Still, Kentucky is a bottom feeder almost a decade now, been slowly going down since the Wisconsin loss..

First and foremost I blame Barnhardt. Lifetime contracts all of the above. His supporters will point out baseball football badminton tennis and all the crap nobody cares about, Kentucky is and will always be a basketball school period.. The basketball built and funded lt all going back decades.

I think Pope has the passion and loyalty to give it all he has to the best of his abilities, i question and wonder if that's going to be enough hope he learned a valuable lesson this year and is not to smart and stubborn to make the changes..
