I am simply saying that I want Kentucky to remain one of the top tier, elite, blue blood programs in the country. But, apparently we are seeing a fan base that is willing to accept our slide into mediocrity. Remember, this didn't just start with Mark Pope, this began the last 5 years of John Calipari. That is why we cannot accept too much longer of this. Now, if you and the other fans are willing to sit around another five or six years and accept Mark Pope having teams ranked outside the top 25 that spend 20 million dollars on NIL and don't make it past the first round or weekend of the tournament, then that's on you....I don't want to become one of those fans. And if that makes me a bad fan, then so be it. I'll live with it, just like I've lived with the Cincinnati Reds being horrible for the last few decades and the Dallas Cowboys not being relevant the past few decades. I was kind of hoping that Kentucky would keep one of my teams on top, though.

I love the passion you have. Rupp had many rough years in late 60s and early 70s. Hall fell off after 78. Tubby fell off after year 1. The only guy that left on a high was Rick. I want the next Rupp now. Who doesn't. I want that guy that redefines the game, redefines how to adjust to the changing times of college basketball, same for football, baseball and so forth with UK. But especially Men's basketball. Is it Pope, probably not, but he earned with year 1 our grace for another year (3). No matter how much of a crap fest we had last year. I truly hope Pope signs the right guys to take UK to a final four this coming year. Right now that looks to be a pipe dream. Portal is not over, overseas is never over and Stokes is like Schrödinger's cat experiment. The Cat is ours and not ours till the decision is made.

If Pope gets no one else and you get your wish then next year we will see what happens. If I get my wish we will have a chance (same as other top teams) to be in the final 4 and Pope will get year 4. Either way, I think we both want UK to win. It is like I said the perception of how you want to get there. Love you fellow Cat Fan!

Not sure what you are looking for in a forum. I like to discuss different opinions without name calling. I like to debate and let it stand. Name calling and keyboard tough guys are just dumb in my opinion. That is all. I was on Rupp Rafters, I fought fire with fire. Just got tired of all the crap.

There's nothing wrong with asking for people to be respectful of each other, not use profanity, etc. In fact, there's a lot wrong thinking those things are OK.

Never seen a forum where you can't call a spade a spade.

A "keyboard tough guy" would refer to a person threatening violence or asking for people's addresses. Which no one did. Never seen a forum where calling someone unintelligent would have have mods threatening to take action.

It's a joke. But you knew that already. One random dude came out the woodwork & called me an idiot. Then I responded back calling him a moron. Who cares. It's really not that serious.

No sir, I do not wish for either. I wanted BCG gone but never wanted the Cats to lose at anytime during his tenure. Funny how those things seem to work out. They did back then and they will again this time.

So mean time, although i dislike a lot of things so far with Pope, i still hope he becomes successful and i wiil root like hell for the Cats

I think that we're both Wildcat fans(me since Wah Wah) and want to see the team remain as the dominant program they have been thru history. We just disagree on how that should come about and agree to disagree and remain civil.

Have you watched that guys film. I did not see him do much at all. I think that is a long term project. In other words we will pay him to sit the bench and he will go elsewhere next year.

I will admit the film I checked out yesterday was from several years ago. On KSR I think that is his last year tape and it looks much better, more fluid and nice jumper.

You're probably right. Yea I watched the highlights. His shot looks good but that was basically the whole video. Just him shooting 3s. Is the 7'5" guy from USC: Dynes better? After watching that highlight video I can't tell if N'Diaye is Moreno's backup or Potter's backup.

There is a good possibility that he will play the 4 position.

I think Pope is thinking Moreno and that guy playing the 4 as reports are he is solid on defense and can keep smaller guys in front of him with this speed. I will admit the tape from last year (on KSR) which that post had is better than what he looked like 3 years ago.

I agree. He's 6'11 power 4 with a decent outside shot that he can make off the dribble.he seems very fluid and mobile. I liky

Yes I agree on being so fluid and mobile,hopefully he will be a good addition to the team. He has a 7"3 wingspan,he should be able to alter some shots.
