Hofstra PG Cruz Davis will visit KY. He would be a nice pickup if we can land him.

On a different note, I really hope Wilkins ends up a Wildcat. Dude is a baller.

I tend to agree. I think it's MORE of a JMI than a Mark Pope problem. Perhaps Pope doesn't help matters much, but I honestly feel like it's primarily a JMI problem.

I will remain in the boat where I will wait and see. No way to predict who will move to the portal between now and the 21st. No way to predict who will go where. No way to predict who we will get. Then no way to know how they mesh together. I mean Kansas had some big name guys last year. How did their year work out? Too many times of teams with big name players and they end up empty handed. We are in a new age of basketball and we all act like we know how things are going to work out. We all think we know how it should be done. Well there is not one expert yet. Michigan did the best so far with portal players. Lets see if he goes back to back and has the formula to be followed. Not 1 talking head knows anything, not one coach, AD, Fan or even Player. It is like going to Vegas with your last 100.00 and thinking you are going to come out a millionaire. What are the odds?

Of course he is. Go to Lexington, get a meeting, share it all on Monopoly Tube, FaceCrook, X, Tik Tok, Instagram, get Ai to make a Song about it on Suno. Build it all up to drive up the price, sign to play elsewhere anywhere but Kentucky.

I done seen this rodeo a time or two already.....

No more sugar coating it, it's going backwards. With Pitino back in the days after probation, win or lose, you could see it coming. When Cal first came, immediately hit the ground running. This thing we got going on right here right now aint it.........

Cruz Davis of Hofstra: 6'3" lefty. His highlight reel is good to watch. He has a unique game. Just think about the name stuff with Zoom to Cruz and such. I do like this guys game. Wilkens, Zoom and Cruz might be a good group of 3. Add Colgate guy and we would be good at guard.

    35% FG

    25% 3-point %

Hmmm. Not the greatest shooting percentage for a guard.

When Pope came to Kentucky there was all this talk about how explosive his offense was going to be, especially because of all the 3-point shooting that was going to take place.

I've gotta be honest...his first class of recruits brought in some really good 3-point shooters....but I haven't seen the same emphasis since then.

We have to have 3 more Guards at least. We need another solid choice as PG along with Zoom and Williams. Then we need at least 2 to 3 2 guards or guard forward type of guys. Then add a true small forward (like stokes or whomever) and go after some bigs. I hope we see almost a full roster this coming year with about even (1-3) guys to (4-5) guys. 7 of each sounds about right, 2 pg 2sg, 3 combo or small fwd / 4 PF and 3 centers. That would do it for me.
