He's the guy who hoped UK would lose every game so Pope would get fired. I doubt he relaxes.

1000% agree it is going to be a chemistry problem to overcome any time you add 5 or 8 players each year. Hope he gets it right this year. I would really like to enjoy basketball again. Football this year, good or bad is a free pass for Stein. Baseball has been up and down.

In what world is a person's instinct to cry & whine when "his team" gets a commitment from one of the best guards available?

Remember Antonio Reeves? He wasn't a bad player for Kentucky. Came from a small bottom feeder school, I believe it was Illinois State. Imagine if, back in the day, Kentucky had taken a player named LARRY BIRD from a small bottom feeder school like Indiana State.

Yeah.... nothing good can come from those small bottom feeder schools, that's for sure.
I put his ignorant *** on ignore, next to JFCats for that moronic post lol

If you go back in the day at UK the biggest transfers were Macy, Anderson, Pope and a few others but those were some of the biggest. I would say this transfer has the opportunity to be UK's version of Waller Clayton (Florida).
In this day and age, I think players develop at different paces. It’s why some great players in recent years started at smaller schools. We tried getting players from Bama, Florida, Oklahoma St., Pittsburgh… we saw how that worked out this year. For every Oweh, there’s a Brea who came from Dayton. Didn’t Dalton Knect (sp) for Tennessee come out of a small school only to win SEC POY?
Wilkins will be a sophomore, so ideally Pope gets this thing turned around and we have him for multiple seasons. He has a lot of upside.

I do think we need a couple more high percentage shooters.

Add Stokes and some depth, at least we have potential and a true game changing 5 star, that's a start...

Did you really just mention Steph Curry? The same Curry that turned down Duke Carolina The Whitehouse The Pope and every other school that overlooked him in the 10th grade?

Reeves, fair enough. Are you talking about 1st year Reeves or second year Reeves?

I hope his character is good and he can handle kentucky
