Where do the rumors even come from? Does anyone have any conclusive proof of anything? I feel like everyone is just making stuff up and then it gets repeated enough to get a tiny bit of credibility.

Most of it comes from these guys like Torres, Goodman, field of 68, SEC16 and other podcasts that want hits, likes and such. Comments to their stuff (good and bad) make their channels.

Sounds like Freeman rescheduled his UK visit to after UConn, who are supposedly his favorite. Be curious if he even makes it to Lex.

guess Jones said UK should have a PG by tomorrow, but I’m in show me mode now.

Like I said earlier the negative rumors are starting to pile up and experts are saying UK might miss on both Wright and Zoom plus was never close on Stokes. Also saying UK is not in a good spot for others like Freeman.
Branham is stating Pope is willing to wait on Stokes and it could cost him on many good portal players.

IF all of this is true (which I am not saying it is), then Pope has not learned anything in the past 2 portal cycles. We could be witnessing the beginning of the end. By these rumor reports.

I think we will start to see things unfold later this week, Thursday / Friday / Saturday. We will either get our answers on some portal guys and move on or be very happy.

What Trilly Donovan said about Donnie Freeman, I think he posted this last night:

"uconn has the lowest offer, but his camp likes Hurley. seems there are some people pushing him towards bama as well. kentucky has the highest offer by a decent amount"

Is there a contingency plan for PF other than injury prone Magoon Gwath if Freeman decides to go elsewhere?

Amari was the perfect big for Pope's offense. I know they had hoped that Garrison was going to be that guy, but he doesn't have that skill set. I think with some work, Moreno can be that guy.

There will be all kinds of rumors for Wright and Stokes or any other players UK wants to sign. Heck 1/2 are probably from UK fans just wanting to stir the pot. No sense in wringing of hands or anything. Pope will either get his first choice or will start figuring out his exit strategy for next spring. We get or 2nd or 3rd choices and it will be another ho hum year. I suspect we are still in contact with at least 30 or 40 players and some of those guys are to throw off some of our competition.

I think he's just trying to emphasize that UK is the favorite. I don't think he means anything more positive or negative about it. It's like when pretty most everybody uses a colorful adjective for the sake of emphasis (I.e. - f-ing). Goodman has reliable sources that have probably let him know that Wright wants to play for UK and it probably all comes down to money, with Goodman being like the vast majority of the population and all too willing to spend other people's (UK) money.

Im not suprised..I cant stand him...he always says negative things about us
